Paying for Care
Depending on you insurance, care ma be paid for 100 percent or you may have a copay that will need to be paid directly to the facility. We will let you know before admission what the payment terms are for your insurance company. Most insurance companies authorize a certain number of days you can stay with us during your recovery. We will work together to be sure you are given the time you need to recover so you can safely and confidently return home.

Depending on you current circumstances, Medicare will cover you 100 percent for the first 20 days (although circumstances may dictate otherwise) or 80 percent of the rate if you have an ongoing medical condition. If you have a secondary insurance, they will often cover whatever Medicare does not cover.
If you do not have secondary insurance such as Blue Cross or Medicaid, you may need to pay the 20 percent out of pocket. We will work with you to determine how much coverage you have through Medicare and what your options may be.
Our rates are set based on industry-established criteria. The key criterion is out private rates can never go below Medicaid rates. If you do not have insurance coverage for your stay, we have an all-inclusive rate available. Easy payment options through direct deposit and credit card is available.
We accept Medicaid, but often there is a misconception about what Medicaid pays. Simply put, Medicaid pays the balance of whatever funds are available to you. What this means is, if you receive Social Security or a pension, all of these funds need to be paid minus a small stipend the government allows. Medicaid will pay the balance. The funds available cannot be used to pay for anything outside of our care unless it has been authorized by the Medicaid office.
Our social worker and business office staff will work closely with you to help identify resources to help you pay for your care.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Many of our residents find it easier for Social Security to send us their checks directly to avoid delays. We can facilitate this process. Personal and cashier checks as well as money orders are also acceptable means of payment.
