Kidney Disease at Samaritan Manor
Over 26 million Americans have chronic kidney disease. According to the National kidney foundation, Seniors, African Americans, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, and Native Americans are at increased risk for this disease. Kidney disease may be caused by diabetes, high blood pressure or other illnesses.
Understanding the vast need for kidney/renal support in our community, Samaritan Manor has created a Kidney Disease Support program for our residents. Our staff dietician works with our nurses and physicians to maximize your quality of life while minimizing disease complications. If you need dialysis, you do not have to leave our building. We partner with the on-site dialysis center, conveniently located on the 2nd floor of our building, to minimize disruptions in your daily schedule. However, if you choose to remain with your current dialysis center, we will be happy to assist you.
